About

From Lubbock to the Forty Acres — headed toward law.

Proactive, invested, and experienced in government, leadership, and the work modern law demands.

Past

Growing up in Lubbock, Texas, I developed an early interest in public service, leadership, and business practices that carried through my time at Lubbock-Cooper High School — where I graduated in the top 1% of my class while taking a variety of college-level courses and holding leadership positions across various organizations. That foundation brought me to the University of Texas at Austin, where I have pursued a BA in Government with a minor in Business and Public Policy through the Liberal Arts Honors Program. During my time in Austin, I have drawn on my pre-law interest and academic rigor to better understand the functions and processes of institutions and corporations — alongside the power dynamics that shape them.

Present

At UT Austin, I have channeled that interest into hands-on leadership and academic work. I previously served as Standards Board Chair for the Texas chapter of Kappa Alpha Pi and now serve as Assistant Regional Director for the Great Plains Region at the national level. I also served as a Collegiate Ambassador for the Liberal Arts Honors Scholars program while working concurrently as a Barista Trainer at Starbucks. My final coursework is deepening my analytical and institutional understanding — with a focus on comparative politics, pressing issues within the American government, and a research assistantship analyzing the legal careers of former United States Attorneys.

Future

After completing my remaining coursework for summer 2026, I plan to remain in Lubbock to build on professional experience in legal and corporate settings before applying to law school for the 2027 or 2028 cycles. My primary interests lie in security, public interest, and corporate law sectors — areas where people, policy, and practice intersect. Long term, I anticipate a career in public service, federal security, or business leadership that reflects the values I have upheld throughout my education: diligence, integrity, and ethical responsibility.
